Great Lakes Firearms GL15 223 Wylde 16" 10-Round CA Compliant Rifle

Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 is built around a .223 Wylde chamber giving owners the flexibility to run both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition without the compromises of a chamber cut for only one. Its 16 inch heavy barrel machined from 416R stainless steel with a 1 in 8 twist is threaded 1/2 by 28 and designed to stabilize a wide range of bullet weights for consistent accuracy. A 0.750 gas block in black oxide finish and matching carbine length gas tube regulate the semi automatic action for reliable cycling. An M4 feed ramp design on the 7075 upper improves feeding reliability across different magazine types and ammunition. Finished in a Bronze Titanium Cerakote over a 7075 aluminum frame the GL15 pairs a distinctive look with a corrosion resistant coating built to handle regular range use. The 15.25 inch aluminum handguard features a full length Picatinny rail for mounting optics lights or other accessories as the shooter sees fit. A Mil-spec polymer grip and a 5.5 to 6 pound Mil-spec trigger round out the rifle s ergonomics while an included muzzle brake mounted at a 6 degree forward angle helps manage recoil and muzzle rise.
