Sylvan Arms Short K Suppressor .223 Rem 1/2x28 Direct Thread

Sylvan Arms Short K Features The Sylvan Arms Short K is built around a Grade 9 titanium tube a material chosen for its exceptional strength to weight ratio that keeps the suppressor light on the end of the barrel without sacrificing durability. Internally the blast chamber and baffle stack use 17-4 stainless steel a combination that handles the repeated thermal and pressure cycling of .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO without excessive wear. At just 6.2 long and 12.8 ounces before the muzzle device the Short K adds minimal length and weight to a rifle keeping the overall balance close to an unsuppressed configuration. The matte black Cerakote finish protects the titanium tube from corrosion and wear while matching most factory rifle finishes. Mounting is handled through a 1/2x28 direct thread interface which threads straight onto the barrel without a separate muzzle device simplifying the parts list and keeping the rear of the can close to the bore. Sylvan Arms notes the Short K is not rated for long action or magnum calibers keeping it purpose built for .223/5.56 class rifles rather than a do it all suppressor. With a 26 dB noise reduction rating the Short K brings meaningful sound suppression to a compact rifle or pistol caliber build without the bulk of a longer can. For shooters running a .223 Rem or 5.56 rifle who want a lightweight titanium suppressor with simple direct thread attachment the Short K is a purpose built American manufactured option.
