3M Peltor Sport Tactical 500 Electronic Earmuff Black NRR 26

The 3M Peltor Sport Tactical 500 is an electronic earmuff for shooters who need hearing protection that still lets them hear conversation and range commands. It suppresses gunshot noise and amplifies lower-level sounds, with a targeted passive noise reduction rating (NRR) of 26 dBA.

The muffs use Gunshot Recognition and Suppression Technology, which adjusts protection based on the firearm and environment, and Clear Voice Tracking to pick out speech within background noise. Bluetooth wireless lets the headset pair with a mobile device for making and receiving phone calls. The black polymer cups are low-profile with cut-outs for use with long guns, and the headset folds and adjusts for fit.

The unit includes an auto shut-off and voice guidance, and its buttons can be operated without removing the headset.
