A-Zoom Action Proving Dummy Round 300 Blackout Aluminum Snap Cap 2-Pack

The A-Zoom Action Proving Dummy Round is an inert snap cap in 300 Blackout, machined from aluminum and hard anodized in red so it is easy to tell apart from live ammunition. It is intended for dry fire practice, function testing and checking how a firearm feeds and cycles without live rounds.

The dummy round is designed to fit 300 AAC Blackout chambers and is sold as a two-pack. Its hard anodized finish is cited as a source of smooth cycling and long service life, and the raw listing gives a dry fire hit rating of 3000+ for the product.

Snap caps like this one can also be used to teach safety and to store a firearm with the spring relaxed, which may help preserve spring life over time.
