All mounting components are machined from 6061 aluminum and all non-stress areas are profiled to minimize weight without compromising strength. The rods used for telescoping the stock are manufactured from sturdy 3/8" steel and Melonite-coated for ultra wear resistance and rust prevention. With a Picatinny (1913) moounting interface it will attach to any firearm with a rear Picatinny rail. The MTS stock can be mounted in two different vertical positions 1" apart by flipping the mount over. This is helpful when trying to avoid ejection ports or charging handles and can also position the stock higher or lower for different sight pictures.
