The barrel is a PAC-Nor polygonal 1:8" stainless Super Match which was chambered with a PTG A191 Navy reamer. It was machined to accept the Allen Engineering AE30 suppressor (print enclosed) a Badger FTE brake, and a thread protector. The barrel, brake, and thread protector were black nitride finished by H& M Metal Processing in Ohio, and the barreled action and ancillary parts were then Cerakoted in FDE. The barrel has 600 rounds on it, and based on the fact that it shows no measurable wear with a throat erosion gauge, and others' experience with salt bath nitriding treatment of Magnum barrels, I fully expect it to last 4-5000 rounds before accuracy begins to deteriorate.
