Accuracy International M27 Breech End Thread Cap Black Aluminum

The Accuracy International M27 Breech End Black Aluminum Thread Cap is a rugged maintenance tool designed to protect the critical chamber and breech threads of high-precision rifle barrels. This specific model is sized for the M27 x 2.0 threads found on AT, AX308, AE, and AW short-action barrels, ensuring the tenon remains free from dirt, moisture, and impact damage when the barrel is removed from the chassis. CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum and finished with a durable black anodized coating, the cap features a simple screw-on closure type that serves as a professional alternative to plastic covers. By safeguarding the breech end during transport or storage, this cap helps maintain the integrity of the headspace and threads, which is vital for multi-barrel systems and tactical shooters who frequently swap calibers in the field.
