This is a PICATINNY rail mount. The red dot optic MUST equipped with a PICATINNY BASE in order to attach to this riser mount. Some of the red dots comes with picatinny plate with the red dot purchase, such as Vortex Venom and Burris Fastfire. This Picanny riser will fit the red dot factory provided original pictainny plate. Some of the red dots do NOT come with picatinny plate with the red dot purchase, such as holosun 407k. User need to purchase the picatinny plate separately in order to attach to this riser mount.
