The receiver extension is also type 3 hard anodized for a durable finish and has dry film lube applied to the inside diameter of the tube. The kit also includes a chome silicon buffer spring for longer service life. The three ounce carbine buffer is weighted with three separate counter weights (the separate, sliding counter weights are what prevent bolt-bounce).
