The 16-inch cold hammer-forged barrel is chrome-lined for enhanced longevity and reliability paired with a mid-length gas system and pinned low-profile gas block for smooth cycling and reduced recoil. The rifle is equipped with a chrome-lined phosphate-finished M16 cut bolt carrier group (BCG) featuring a C158 tool steel bolt assembly which has been individually high-pressure tested (HPT) and magnetic particle inspected (MPI) for maximum reliability. The BREACHA(R) ambidextrous charging handle and PRO ambidextrous safety enhance ergonomics for both right- and left-handed shooters. Further improving handling the Aero Precision Enhanced Buffer Tube with H buffer ensures smooth recoil management.
