Aero Precision SOLUS Lightweight .540 Bolt Face Features This SOLUS action is crafted from 416 stainless steel and finished in a durable nitride coating to resist wear corrosion and fouling. Designed with a .540 bolt face it accommodates a wider range of cartridges such as the 6.5 Creedmoor and others within that bolt face category. The action maintains Aero's signature 60-degree bolt throw for rapid cycling and reduced scope interference during operation. Its fluted bolt body reduces weight and friction while dual ejectors ensure consistent case ejection under various conditions. The integral 20 MOA top rail allows for improved long-range optics elevation and the monolithic recoil lug ensures secure bedding for repeatable accuracy. The magnum-sized ejection port is dimensioned to accept cartridges with overall lengths up to 3.00 inches making this action ideal for custom builds and precision shooting applications. Designed to work with AICS and AIAW-style detachable box magazines it provides flexible feeding solutions across competitive and tactical shooting scenarios. Additionally the SOLUS action is barrel-compatible with Savage small shank barrels (using a barrel nut system) or shouldered pre-fit barrels following the Zermatt Origin pattern.
