The AGM PVS-14 NL2 Gen 2+ Level 2 is a monocular night vision device with a 1x magnification and 26mm objective, designed for low-light observation. It can be used handheld or on the included head harness, and it can be fitted to a combat helmet with optional accessories to provide night vision alongside daytime optical sights.

The unit has a 40-degree field of view, a 26mm F/1.2 lens system, and a focus range from 0.25 m to infinity. Diopter adjustment spans -6 to +4. It runs on AA alkaline batteries for up to 50 hours at 20 degrees C and includes manual gain control, automatic bright light cut-off, a built-in infrared illuminator, and low battery, IR on, and excessive light indicators. It is waterproof and weighs 12.4 oz.

The housing is black with a matte finish. The head harness is included, and a helmet mount is available as an optional accessory. The listed operating range is -51 to +49 degrees C, and the storage range is -51 to +85 degrees C.
