AGM UNVG AP Ultralight Gen 2+ Night Vision Goggles 1x 40 Degree FOV

AGM UNVG Features The AGM UNVG uses multi-coated optics across its 25mm objective lenses to maximize light transmission delivering a clear image at 1x magnification with a 40 degree field of view. The image intensifier tube available in Gen 2+ with a figure of merit rating of 1800 or higher resolves fine detail down to 64 to 72 line pairs per millimeter giving operators a crisp picture in low ambient light. A bright light cut-off feature automatically protects the photocathode from damage if the goggle is exposed to a sudden bright light source extending the service life of the expensive tube. Manual gain control lets the user dial in image brightness to match changing light conditions from near total darkness to dim ambient starlight. The independently moving pods allow the UNVG to be configured for either single eye or dual eye use adapting to different operational needs and user preference. Each tube automatically powers down when flipped up out of the line of sight conserving battery life between uses. An integral infrared illuminator supports close-range tasks like reading a map in total darkness and the unit mounts to standard dovetail headset and helmet mounting systems. Running up to 15 hours on a single AA battery or up to 50 hours with the included external battery pack the UNVG is built for extended missions where reliability and runtime matter most.
