Description
The American Defense AD-509T is a one-piece quick-release mount designed to attach a Holosun 509T red dot sight to a Picatinny rail, with a low mounting height suited to AR pistols and other platforms that call for a compact optic setup. It offers low, co-witness and lower 1/3 co-witness optic heights.
The mount is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in Hard Coat Type III anodize in matte black. It uses a titanium quick-release auto lock lever that can be configured to lock to the front or rear. Adjustment requires no proprietary tools and can be done by hand or with a flat blade screwdriver. The company states it is about 30% lighter than its standard mounts.
The mount is compatible with in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rail systems.
