Description
The American Defense AD-Recon 2" Cantilever QD is a one-piece scope mount for mounting high-power optics on a Picatinny rail, such as on a flattop AR-15. The 2-inch cantilever positions the scope forward to help achieve proper eye relief. The rings have no windows, which accommodates scopes with objective housings up to 56mm.
The mount is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in black hard coat anodize. The QD lever uses a titanium auto-lock system that can be configured to lock to the front or rear and adjusts with a finger or a flat-blade screwdriver, without proprietary tools. Its clamping surface is designed for solid rail engagement and fits both in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rails.
