Description
The American Defense AD-T1 Lower 1/3 QD is a Picatinny-rail mount for Aimpoint Micro-footprint red dot sights. It attaches the sight to the rail with a quick-release lever and positions it at the lower 1/3 co-witness height, leaving the iron sights above the optic usable.
The mount is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in black Hard Coat Type 3 anodize. It is listed as about 20 percent lighter than traditional mounts. The quick-release lever uses an auto-lock system intended to fit both in-spec and out-of-spec rail systems.
It fits the Aimpoint Micro T-1, T-2, H-1, H-2, Crossfire, and Romeo 5, and similar sights sharing the Micro footprint.
