Description

The American Defense UIC is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver machined from 7075-T6 aluminum billet. It is intended as the serialized firearm component for a semi-automatic AR-15 build chambered in .223 Remington or 5.56x45mm NATO. The lower is finished in black Type III Teflon-impregnated hardcoat anodizing.

The receiver uses ambidextrous magazine release and bolt catch controls, along with dimpled takedown and pivot pins. The magazine well includes reinforcing ribs, and the trigger guard is sized for use with winter gloves. An integral upper/lower tension adjustment screw is included to help compensate for fit variation between upper receivers and lowers.

This stripped lower fits AR-15 upper receivers and is supplied without a buttstock, grip, trigger group, or other internal parts.
