Description
The Angstadt Arms Ultra Light is a 5.5-inch free-float handguard for AR-15 style rifles, built to replace a factory handguard with a slimmer, lighter option. It is intended for calibers including 223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO and 9mm Luger.
The handguard is machined from aluminum, finished in black anodize, and weighs 5.3 ounces. It has an outer diameter of 1.375 inches and is free floating, with M-LOK slots for accessory mounting. The slim profile is designed to let a sound suppressor of up to 1.40 inches in diameter tuck inside the handguard when paired with an exact-length 6-inch barrel.
The handguard installs with a standard wrench and does not require timing. It is not compatible with .308 models.
