The Angstadt Arms Hydraulic Buffer Kit is a replacement buffer for AR-15 pistol-caliber carbines chambered in 9mm Luger, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. It is designed to soften the sharp recoil impulse typical of straight blowback systems. Hydraulic dampening inside the buffer absorbs bolt carrier impact at the rear of its travel, and the damping profile is tuned for these chamberings in primarily unsuppressed setups across barrel lengths.

The buffer weighs 6 ounces and measures 4.35 inches extended and 3.90 inches compressed, so no additional buffer spacer is needed. It has a stainless steel body with a black bumper. The kit includes a carbine buffer spring for a direct drop-in installation.
