Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger Kit M&P 9/40 Duty/Carry Black

The Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger Kit Duty/Carry is a drop-in replacement kit for the Smith & Wesson M&P 9/40 striker-fired pistol, chambered for 9mm Luger and .40 S&W. It replaces the trigger, sear, sear spring, and striker block to smooth the trigger pull and shorten travel compared with the factory trigger.

The kit is made from aluminum with a matte black finish and is rated to maintain a 5 to 5.5 lb trigger pull weight for duty and carry use. It reduces pre-travel and over-travel by approximately 20% and shortens the reset length. The center-mounted pivoting safety is retained to keep factory safety values.

The kit fits the Smith & Wesson M&P 9/40 only and is not compatible with the M&P 2.0. The package includes the trigger, a heavy duty sear spring, a fully machined sear, a duty/carry spring set, a striker block kit with striker block spring and tool, and a slave pin to aid installation of the trigger return spring.
