Green Mountain 224 Valk AR-15 Barrel 22" Heavy Fluted Black Pass.

Engineered for precision long-range performance in AR-15 platforms, the Green Mountain 22" Heavy Fluted Barrel in .224 Valkyrie delivers exceptional accuracy and velocity for competitive shooters and varmint hunters alike. This stainless steel barrel combines a robust heavy profile with strategic fluting to reduce weight without sacrificing rigidity, ensuring consistent shot placement even during extended sessions. Key Features and Benefits 22-inch heavy fluted profile provides superior barrel harmonics and heat dissipation for enhanced accuracy and sustained fire capability. 1:7 twist rate optimally stabilizes heavy .224 Valkyrie projectiles, such as 80-90 grain bullets, for flat trajectories and wind resistance at extended ranges. Rifle-length gas system promotes reliable cycling and reduced recoil, improving shooter comfort and follow-up shot speed. 0.936" gas block journal and 1/2x28 muzzle threading offer broad compatibility with standard gas blocks, suppressors, and muzzle devices. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion and maintains precision over thousands of rounds. Technical Specifications Platform: AR-15 Caliber: .224 Valkyrie Barrel Length: 22 inches Profile: Heavy Fluted Finish: Stainless Twist Rate: 1:7 Gas System: Rifle Length Gas Block Journal: 0.936 inches Muzzle Thread: 1/2x28 Weight: 30 oz Why Choose This Barrel? Whether building a dedicated long-range AR-15 or upgrading an existing setup, this Green Mountain barrel addresses common pain points like excessive weight, inconsistent accuracy, and poor heat management. The fluted design lightens the load for better maneuverability while the heavy contour maintains the stiffness needed for sub-MOA performance. Its specifications align perfectly with the .224 Valkyrie's design for supersonic performance beyond 1,000 yards.
