Area 419 Hellfire TBAC BA Suppressor Mount for 338 Ultra

Area 419 Hellfire TBAC BA Features The Area 419 Hellfire TBAC BA suppressor mount allows a compatible suppressor to thread directly onto a barrel already set up with the Area 419 Sidewinder Universal Adapter simply by removing the Sidewinder brake and torquing this mount into the suppressor in its place. Because the mount threads onto the adapter in a left hand direction the suppressor becomes a direct thread unit that stays secure even as the shooter cycles through strings of fire. The black nitride finish is applied specifically to prevent galling between the mount and the suppressor s threads over repeated use. Area 419 recommends blue thread locker on the external threads to hold the mount semi permanently in place inside the suppressor body. This mount is built to meet the thread specifications of the suppressor manufacturer it is designed for though Area 419 notes it is not affiliated with that manufacturer. The design keeps the overall added length to the barrel to a minimum since it does not use a collar like the standard muzzle brake. A wrench is included with Gen 2 mounts to properly torque the assembly during installation. Shooters running the Sidewinder system in 338 Ultra gain suppressor compatibility without sacrificing the quick change convenience the brake system was built around.
