Area 419 The Zero Features The Area 419 The Zero turret press is built around a zero slop turret head allowing reloaders to swap between dies without introducing the variability that comes from removing and resetting individual dies each time. The turret accepts multiple die attachment standards currently 7/8 thread with 1-1/4 thread and future options planned eliminating the need for awkward thread stacking adapters. A 4.4 ram stroke supports significantly larger cases than many standard presses can handle while a 4.75 total opening keeps the shellholder clear of unnecessary protrusion at the bottom of the stroke. This extended ram position is designed to be more repeatable than typical ram style presses on the market. Bearing guided motion throughout the system improves energy transfer from handle to ram giving a smoother overall feel during operation. The handle setup is adjustable and interchangeable letting reloaders dial in the leverage and feel that suits their technique. An internally contained primer catch system does away with the baby food jars and surgical hoses common on older press designs.
