Description
The Arisaka Defense MMA40 is an M-LOK to M-LOK offset adapter that adds mounting points where a handguard lacks slots at the 1:30 and 10:30 clock positions. It provides three half M-LOK slots set at a 40-degree offset, which can be used to mount accessories such as a Unity Hot Button to one side of the top rail for thumb activation.
The adapter is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish. When installed on the 6 o'clock M-LOK slots with a compatible vertical grip, it angles the grip outward to one side, which can provide added clearance around drum magazines or on a light machine gun. Installation requires an IP20/T20 Torx driver, not included, and the manufacturer recommends 30 inch-pounds of torque for M-LOK screws with medium-strength threadlocker.
