The Arisaka Defense Offset Scout Mount for Geissele SMR 416 handguards attaches directly to the threaded inserts on the Geissele SMR 416, eliminating additional Picatinny rails and Picatinny mounts. Three lateral light positions allow the user to tuck the light closer to the top rail or gain clearance around top rail mounted accessories like laser illuminators. In particular, there is enough clearance for the larger Modlite OKW and PLH heads to fit next to the NGAL, LA-5/PEQ, AN/PEQ15 and ATPIAL-C. It will also allow lights to clear the QD lever on the Steiner DBAL I2, A3, and D2.
