Arisaka Defense Tailcap Adapter for Streamlight ProTac HL-X Rail Mount Black

The Arisaka Defense Tailcap Adapter is a black, anodized accessory for Streamlight ProTac HL-X rail mount lights. It lets the light work with SureFire Scout tailcaps and remote switches, including the SureFire SR-D-IT and TNVC/Unity TAPS dual switches, which are commonly paired with laser and illuminator units.

The adapter includes two o-rings, one sized for CR123 cells and one for 18650 cells. Placed on the back end of the battery before the adapter is threaded on, the o-ring keeps the battery from moving rearward under recoil, which helps prevent flickering or blinking when the battery would otherwise lose contact with the front terminal.

Streamlight's TEN-TAP programming remains functional with SureFire tailcaps and remote switches when the adapter is installed. The current mode is unchanged unless deliberately altered.
