Description
The Armaspec ELEV8 iBEAM XL is a black anodized aluminum and steel optic riser for Picatinny rail mounts. It raises a holographic or other optic mounted to a Picatinny rail, positioning the optical center line at about 2.26 inches above the rail. The raised height is intended to support a lower 1/3 co-witness setup, where the sight picture lines up with the iron sights in the lower third of the optic window.
The riser uses a 13-slot Picatinny mounting base and is designed for lower 1/3 co-witness optics such as the EOTech EXPS and Vortex UH-1. According to the listing, the height can help shooters aim while using night vision or wearing a gas mask, and can bring the sight closer to the shooter's natural line of vision.
