The Armaspec Superlight Takedown and Pivot Pin Set is a steel replacement set for the AR-15 platform, sold as a bundle for the upper and lower receiver joints. It is intended for builders and owners who need to assemble or service the takedown and pivot pin locations.
The pins are finished in black and feature a convex head that can be tapped from any angle. An extended concave tip allows removal with a flat or pointed object, including a bullet tip. A dimpled end eases pushing, and the pins follow the Mil-Spec .250 A2 dimension. An EZ-Set hole is included for detent installation.
The package includes one pivot pin, one takedown pin, two detents and two detent springs.
