Rock Island Armory 1911 A2 Tac Ultra FS HC 10mm 5.05" 16-Round Pistol

Rock Island Armory 1911 A2 Tac Ultra FS HC Features The Rock Island Armory 1911 A2 Tac Ultra FS HC is built on a steel frame with aggressive slide serrations that make racking the slide easier under stress or with wet or gloved hands. A 5.05 inch barrel with a 1 in 16 inch twist keeps the pistol accurate at typical hunting and defensive distances while the single action trigger delivers the crisp short reset 1911 shooters have relied on for generations. An ambidextrous thumb safety paired with a grip safety gives the shooter multiple layers of protection while still allowing a fast natural presentation. The integrated Picatinny rail up front lets the shooter add a weapon light without needing an aftermarket rail adapter. Fiber optic front and adjustable rear sights give the shooter a bright fast sight picture across a range of lighting conditions a real upgrade over plain black on black sights. G10 grip panels provide a textured durable surface that stays secure even when hands are wet or sweaty and the black parkerized finish resists corrosion during extended carry hunting or storage. Chambered in 10mm Auto this Tac Ultra delivers flatter trajectories and more energy downrange than 9mm or .45 ACP a real advantage for hunting or backcountry carry. With a 16 round double stack magazine this pistol offers significant capacity without abandoning the familiar ergonomics of the 1911 platform.
