This was one of the later additions to my collection. When I saw this model displayed at SHOT a few years ago I just had to have it. The quality on the Arsenal rifles is unprecedented and I have always been a sucker for plum colored furniture. This one was in 5.56 Nato and also had the matching plum colored Circle 10 30 round mag. Even though it is not an older classic model it certainly looks and feels like one. If memory serves me correctly I put one mag through this rifle, cleaned it up, and put it back in the safe where it has sat for several years. If I don\'t sell it now while I have the inclination I\'m sure that it will just continue to sit for several more.... So, it\'s time to let it go...... Now, more about the rifle. The Arsenal SAM5 is a top-of-the-line 5.56x45mm AK47 rifle featuring a meticulously milled and forged receiver for superior durability and performance. It comes with a 16.3\" chrome lined hammer forged barrel that ensures high precision and longevity. This model realises a substantial improvement with the inclusion of 14x1mm left-hand muzzle threads, and the highly efficient AK-351 muzzle brake. It also possesses the FIME Enhanced Fire Control Group, for a more responsive and controlled shooting experience. This AK47 rifle is fitted with plum colored polymer furniture for a sleek, modern look and an intermediate length buttstock for enhanced user comfort. It also comes with a practical scope rail and a 30 round magazine for extended range sessions. Adding value to this package is a useful sling, oil bottle, and cleaning kit for proper maintenance of your rifle. All sales are final on this rifle. This rifle requires a full FFL for purchase. The back story. Over the last 30 plus years in the gun business I have acquired some really nice surplus firearms. These guns came from Gun Shows, private collections, and private individuals that I have met along the way, as well as, on occasion, what I would deem as the best of a particular lot when it came in here to Classic. Well, all good things must end and at this point in my life it is time to downsize a little and that includes letting go of some of these \"Gun Safe Queens\" that I have typically only pulled out to clean ever so often. Now don\'t get me wrong, there was a time when I would not have even considered giving up one of these firearms as they have been very special to me. However, my daughters show no interest in inheriting them, and I\'ve decided that I would rather see them in the hands of folks that would relish them, than to have them to continue sit in a dark safe here at Classic. Each gun from my private collection is unique and they will sell individually by serial #, so when that gun is gone, it is gone and irreplaceable. At least from me.
