The manual retention system prevents any unintentional loosening by utilizing spring-loaded turrets to apply tension as the retractor is moved into place. A spring-loaded ring actuated by the user tightens against the body of the mount tunable with a precision matched wrench. The ADVERS scope mount uses a patent pending retention system that generates tension in the mount around the body of the scope removing the necessity to re-zero the scope ever so slightly. This provides the shooter with much faster zero acquisition that does not require any manual tightening.
