The Auto-Ordnance Thompson 1927A-1 Deluxe is a semi-automatic carbine based on the historic Thompson submachine gun design, chambered in 45 ACP. It is intended for collectors and shooting enthusiasts who want a classic firearm in a civilian semi-automatic form.
The carbine has a 16.5-inch barrel with a threaded muzzle and an overall length of 41 inches. Its steel receiver has a blued finish, and it uses a blade front sight with an adjustable rear sight. A pinned Cutts compensator lengthens the finned barrel to 18 inches. The rifle weighs approximately 13 pounds and feeds from a 20-round magazine.
