When a suppressed weapon fires a large number of shots, the expanding gasses eject backwards towards the operator. This gas blowback is not only an annoyance, but also makes it more difficult for the operator to breathe and see. B& T’s RBS (Reduced Back Pressure) Suppressor Series was designed to counter this problem by minimizing gas blowback as well as reducing fouling. The RBS suppressor utilizes a unique low-pressure chamber to absorb a considerable amount of the expanding gasses, which in turn decreases the back pressure.
