Description
Barnes VOR-TX LR is a 30-06 Springfield centerfire rifle load built for long-range shooting and hunting. It is loaded with Barnes LRX boat tail bullets engineered for this cartridge, which are described as having a nose cavity that peels back into four cutting petals for expansion at close range and well past 700 yards.
The load uses a 175-grain bullet with a rated muzzle velocity of 2750 fps. Cases are brass and the ammunition is lead free. Each box holds 20 rounds and weighs 0.99 pounds.
Ballistic performance depends on the rifle and conditions, so consult cartridge ballistics data before shooting at distance.
