Description
Barnes TSX Boat Tail bullets are .510-diameter, 647-grain copper hollow point projectiles for reloading .50 BMG cartridges. They are made entirely of copper, with no lead core, and are intended for hunting.
The bullet is a boat tail hollow point. On impact the hollow cavity opens into four cutting petals, which the manufacturer says help the bullet penetrate bone and tissue. The raw listing states the bullet usually retains nearly all of its original weight. Barnes suggests seating the bullet about 0.050 inch off the rifling lands, with best accuracy typically between 0.030 and 0.070 inch depending on the rifle.
This package contains 20 bullets. These are components only and are not loaded ammunition.
