Description
The Barnes LRX Long-Range X is a 7mm (.284 caliber) reloading bullet built for long-range hunting. It is a copper, lead-free design with a polymer tip and a boat tail, and it follows the earlier Tipped Triple-Shock X bullet with a longer ogive and boat tail to raise its ballistic coefficient for better downrange performance.
The bullet weighs 168 grains. The polymer tip starts expansion on contact and opens the nose cavity, roughly doubling the bullet's original diameter and forming four cutting petals that the manufacturer says cause extensive internal damage.
This package contains 50 rounds per box, with 10 boxes per case, for a total of 500 bullets. The bullets are intended for handloaders who reload 7mm ammunition.
