Barnes Pioneer 45-70 Government 300gr TSX Flat Nose 20 Rounds

The Barnes Pioneer .45-70 Government 300-grain TSX Flat Nose is factory hunting ammunition for the .45-70 Government cartridge. It uses a Triple Shock X bullet, a copper monolithic design intended for deep penetration and expansion on larger game.

The bullet is a 300-grain flat nose TSX. According to the manufacturer's description, the TSX retains nearly all of its original weight while expanding to create a large wound channel. Grooves in the bullet body are said to reduce pressure, allowing higher loading velocities for added range and impact energy.

Each box contains 20 rounds, and 10 boxes ship per case. The ammunition is listed for rifle use in the .45-70 Government chambering.
