Description
Barnes VOR-TX 35 Whelen 180 grain ammunition is a factory hunting load built around a tipped TSX flat base bullet. It is intended for deer-sized game. The bullet is designed to expand in stages, with the polymer tip starting expansion on contact and the cavity fully opening on a later impact to transfer energy.
The load is rated at a muzzle velocity of 2900 fps and uses a 180 grain bullet. Cases are brass, boxer-primed, non-corrosive and reloadable. Ammunition is manufactured to tight tolerances for accuracy and consistent velocity.
Each box holds 20 rounds, and each case contains 10 boxes, or 200 rounds in total. The cartridge is chambered for the 35 Whelen.
