Barrett MRAD 6.5 Creedmoor 17" Barrel Conversion Kit

Barrett Kit C Barrel Conversion Kit Features The Barrett Kit C conversion kit is built around a 17 inch fluted barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor giving MRAD owners a straightforward way to add this popular long range cartridge to their existing bolt action platform. The 1:8 twist rate is matched to stabilize a wide range of 6.5 Creedmoor bullet weights from lighter varmint loads to heavier match projectiles favored by long range competitors. Fluting along the barrel reduces overall weight while increasing surface area for faster heat dissipation which helps maintain accuracy during sustained strings of fire. A matte black finish provides corrosion resistance and a low-glare surface suited to both tactical and hunting environments. Barrett engineers its conversion kits to swap into the MRAD platform with minimal fuss letting shooters change calibers without purchasing an entirely new rifle. At just 1.44 pounds the barrel itself remains light enough to avoid significantly altering the rifle s balance when installed. This kind of modularity is part of what has made the MRAD platform popular among precision rifle shooters who want one chassis capable of running multiple cartridges. For MRAD owners looking to add 6.5 Creedmoor capability to their rifle the Barrett Kit C conversion kit is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
