Barrett Model 99 .50 BMG 32 Barrel 1-Round

Barrett Model 99 Features The Barrett Firearms Model 99 is a single shot bolt action rifle built around the massive 50 BMG cartridge delivering the kind of extreme long range ballistic performance that platform is known for. Its 32 inch barrel and 1-in-15 twist rate are matched to stabilize heavy 50 BMG projectiles across extended distances giving shooters the accuracy needed for serious precision work. A black anodized finish protects the action and barrel from the elements standing up to repeated range sessions and field use without compromising performance. The thumb operated safety gives the shooter a fast deliberate way to control the rifle s readiness between shots at the firing line. The black tactical stock is built to handle the significant recoil generated by the 50 BMG chambering providing a stable platform for repeatable accurate shots. At 50 inches overall and 25 pounds the Model 99 is a substantial rifle designed to be shot from a bench or supported position rather than carried offhand. The 7/8x24 thread pattern accepts muzzle devices suited to managing recoil and blast from this caliber.
