The Barrett QDL is a suppressor for the .50 BMG cartridge, designed to attach quickly to the muzzle brake of the Barrett M107A1 rifle. It uses a lock-ring coupler that clicks into ratchet grooves for a secure fit, and it includes a bolted-on, easily removable two-port auxiliary muzzle brake to reduce recoil during suppressed fire.
The suppressor body is a 360-degree welded, heat-treated 4130 steel alloy tube with a dual-layered construction and a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish. It measures 14.84 inches overall, adds 12.73 inches of length after installation, and weighs 4.88 pounds. The manufacturer rates total decibel reduction at 23 dB.
The package includes a MOLLE carrying case and a thermal mirage cover. The QDL is not compatible with the Barrett Model 82A1.
