Description
The Battle Arms Development Standard Bolt Carrier Group is an AR-15 replacement BCG finished in black nitride for wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It is intended for AR-15, M16 and M4 pattern rifles chambered in 223 Remington, 5.56x45mm NATO and 300 Blackout.
The assembly is built from several steel components. The bolt carrier is 8620 steel, case hardened and machined from billet. The bolt is 9310 steel, case hardened, shot peened and CNC ground after heat treatment to mil-spec dimensions. The firing pin is 8740 steel, center-less ground and hard chromed. The extractor is 4340 steel with a manganese phosphate finish for positive grip. The gas key uses 4130 steel with grade 8 screws, properly staked, and the cam pin is 4340 hardened steel.
The BCG is supplied as a complete group with the components listed above. Its laser engraved BAD Inc logo marks the carrier.
