Bear Archery Take Down #1 Limb Phenolic With Black Glass Traditional Bow

Step into a piece of archery history with the Bear Archery Take Down #1 Limb, finished in phenolic with black glass. Inspired by Fred Bear's original groundbreaking design, this traditional recurve bow blends timeless style with the dependable feel serious archers appreciate. The signature 1969 heal horn style grip sits naturally in the hand, delivering a deep, secure hold that supports a smooth, consistent shot. An arrow shelf positioned 1/8 inch above the grip helps promote cleaner arrow flight and a closer-to-hand trajectory for better control. Built for versatility, the Take Down system is available with A or B risers and left- or right-hand options, making it easy to match your setup and shooting style. The #1 limbs create a compact, well-balanced bow that pairs classic craftsmanship with reliable performance. Whether you are building a traditional target bow or refining your field setup, this Bear recurve offers the authentic look, feel, and shooting experience that has earned its place among archery legends.
