S30V steel is exceptionally hard (58-60 HRC), and takes on a remarkably sharp edge. S30V also resists wear and chipping, though it is generally easier to sharpen than other premium steels in its class. Dual thumb studs allow quick, 1-hand opening, and an Axis locking mechanism ensures the blade won't fold-up during rugged use. Textured, Grivory grip panels provide a high level of strength and stability, as well as an excellent hold.
