The Ethos handles like a dream. At around 6.5 to 7 pounds it is light and lively between the hands, which is exactly what you want swinging on upland birds or fast clays, yet the Progressive Comfort stock keeps it comfortable through a long day of shooting. It cycles a huge range of loads reliably, and the inertia action means you can shoot it dirty for ages without a hiccup. The one honest caveat is inherent to inertia guns: very light target loads can occasionally short-stroke, and recoil with heavy magnums is firmer than a gas gun like the Beretta A400. For everything in between, the Ethos is superb.
