Bergara Premier Series Canyon Rifle Features New for 2022 the Bergara Premier Series Canyon Rifle delivers excellent long range performance. It comes standard with a No. 4 Taper fluted barrel and a TriggerTech Frictionless Release trigger to ensure accuracy. To reduce weight the Canyon is outfitted with a AG Composite stock made from 100% carbon fiber and a Swamper Rogue Camo patter in included to help you blend in. As with all of Bergara's Premier Series rifles the Canyon is equipped with the Premier action. This utilizes a two-lug system with a separate floating bolt head which guarantees contact with the lug supports in the action. To ensure the cartridges feed smoothly the bolt nose is cone shaped and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor allows for reliable ejection of spent brass. In addition the Canyon comes with the universal M5 floorplate allowing the user to use either a hinged floor plate or AICS type magazines and is compatible with Remington 700 bases with 8-40 screws.
