Berger Bullets Hybrid Target .30 Caliber / .308 185 Grain 100-Count OTM

Berger Bullets Hybrid Target Features The Berger Hybrid Target bullet combines two proven ogive shapes into one design starting with a tangent ogive as the bearing surface ends which makes the bullet notably less sensitive to variations in seating depth compared to a pure secant design. Moving forward along the bullet the profile transitions into a secant ogive the same shape used on Berger s renowned VLD bullets delivering the wind-cutting efficiency that made that line so popular among long-range shooters. This combination was developed in partnership between Berger s bullet makers and Chief Ballistician Bryan Litz who used his expertise to pair the right shapes for optimum downrange performance. The result is a bullet that is both forgiving to load and highly efficient in flight. Each Hybrid Target bullet uses J4 Precision Jackets held to .0003 inch total indicated runout or less a tolerance that results in exceptional bullet balance particularly important under the high rotational speeds generated by modern rifle twist rates. Built in .30 caliber at a .308 inch diameter and weighing 185 grains these bullets carry a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.576 and a G7 of 0.295 reflecting their sleek efficient profile. The jacketed lead core construction and open tip match design are purpose-built for target competition rather than hunting use. For competitive shooters chasing match-winning accuracy at distance this Berger Hybrid Target bullet is a proven record-setting choice.
