Berger VLD Hunting 30 Cal .308 168gr Boat Tail Bullets 100 Count

Berger VLD Hunting bullets are 30 caliber (.308 diameter) projectiles of 168 grains for handloading .308 Winchester cartridges. They use a Secant Very Low Drag hollow point boat tail design with a copper jacket over a lead core, intended for hunting use at longer ranges.

The bullet has an overall length of 1.26 inches. Berger recommends seating it to touch the rifling for best accuracy, and notes that the resulting cartridge overall length may be too long for some magazines. The sharp nose is designed for ballistic efficiency at 300 yards or more.

Each box contains 100 bullets. These are reloading components only and are not loaded ammunition.
