Berger Bullets OTM Tactical .30 Caliber / .308 175 Grain 500-Count OTM

Berger Bullets OTM Tactical Features The Berger OTM Tactical bullet uses an open tip match or OTM design favored by military law enforcement and competitive shooters who need the highest level of consistency and accuracy a bullet can deliver. At 175 grains in .30 caliber with a .308 inch diameter this bullet is well suited to bolt action sniper and target rifles as well as gas gun platforms that rely on reliable magazine feeding. The boat tail profile reduces base drag in flight helping the bullet retain velocity and resist wind drift at the extended distances these bullets are typically used at often beyond 1 000 yards. A tangent ogive design makes the bullet easier to load tune and shoot compared to more aggressive ogive profiles giving reloaders a more forgiving platform to work with during load development. Construction relies on J4 Precision bullet jackets which hold a total indicated runout of just plus or minus .0001 inches an extremely tight manufacturing tolerance that translates directly into more consistent bullet flight and tighter groups downrange. This level of precision is a major reason OTM Tactical bullets have become a trusted choice among professionals who cannot afford inconsistency in their ammunition. Sold in a bulk 500 count box this quantity suits high volume shooters long range competitors and reloaders who go through significant round counts during training and practice. As a component bullet this product is intended strictly for handloading and is not loaded ready to fire ammunition.
