Berry s Manufacturing Superior Plated .458 SOCOM / .458 350 Grain 500-Count FMJ

Berry s Manufacturing Superior Plated Features Berry s Superior Plated bullets start as swaged lead cores that are plated to their final weight before being re-struck for improved accuracy and consistent dimensions. This process gives the .458 SOCOM reloader a bullet that holds tighter tolerances than typical cast lead projectiles while remaining more affordable than traditional jacketed options. At .458 inch diameter and 350 grains the bullet is matched specifically to the heavier bullet weights .458 SOCOM shooters favor for both target and hunting use. The plated jacket also means reloaders avoid the lead fouling that plain cast bullets can leave behind in the bore. Rated to handle velocities up to 2000 fps this bullet gives .458 SOCOM reloaders room to work within their cartridge s typical velocity range without exceeding the plating s limits. The re-struck finishing step after plating helps ensure uniform bullets from one box to the next which supports more consistent accuracy at the range. Sold in a 500 count box these bullets are intended strictly as reloading components for handloaders assembling their own ammunition. Shooters loading .458 SOCOM for sporting or hunting use will find these plated bullets a cost effective alternative to fully jacketed projectiles.
